quick question about using accounts in SRB2MB and in SRB2WS (2024)

I am simply a regular user here, but this sounds like a decision that is up to the admins of the MB. The Workshop is run independently and both it and the MB should have no influence over each other's existence or policies beyond agreements and deliberate efforts to collaborate.

TL;DR: Go ask the MB.

actually what even is going on??? I thought SRB2 was free from drama and all that sh*t but apparently not

It's the kind of behavior I expected out of the western close-circle part of the SRB2MB, which is why I gave a certain content maker a hint to get a plan B ready. They even had the "courtesy" to send one of their lapdogs to do damage control for them when one of the influential members of your community made an announcement about the existence of SRB2WS.

Oh well, if they want to rock the boat with me, I don't mind making my future content exclusive for SRB2WS. They wanted to escalate the dispute regarding porting content to 2.2 to this point while not bothering to port it themselves, it's their problem now.

Oh, and community versions of Mystic's work is still up on their website despite him being banned, so they don't even follow their own rules.

We'll see what comes of that when it actually comes out. I've been keeping an eye on things there for a while, and they've considered Sonic's Thok to be OP, which I don't have an opinion on, since I haven't played that character all that much. The change in physics definitely is a riskè decision, but depending on what we get in return, the risk could pay off. I do not know the reason why they insist on the ring slinger removal, though.

My guess is they're making srb2 battle be a vanilla thing.
don't really want ringslinger to go though, it's my favorite gametype-

iirc, in SRB2OS, one of the reasons people tells that Thok is bad just because it's "uncontrollable for new players", like you can thok to any other pit and hazards without any problems.
Like, uhh... Idk, this is sounds like skill issue to me, especially when one of the supporters brought THIS document with THIS kind of SRB2 playthrough, where some random guy plays SRB2 THAT bad.
